“Get the popular support to conquer the world”, allegiance is a standard to measure a country’s stability and unity, also in the game, allegiance reflects a city’s state of development. In Kingory, common people have two values, allegiance and resentment.

In the game, as an architect, you should concern about the allegiance. Adjusting tax rate can affect a city’s allegiance and rape can bring you resources temporarily, but will also bring you serious consequence at last. So in case of accident, you should pacify common people quickly. Only kind king will win the heart of common people. When suffering outside aggression, they will get the voluntary help from common people. But without allegiance, there will be troubles both at home and from outside.

Click “department official” in the city, you can carry out daily management and allegiance control.

Pacification of Common People

You can raise allegiance and reduce resentment by pacification. Methods are as bellow:

Pray: raise allegiance 25 and reduce resentment 5 by giving gold. The volume of good is in proportion to city population.

Sacrifice to heaven: avoid one Natural Disaster and increase chance of manna by giving foodstuff and gold. The volume of foodstuff and gold is in proportion to city population.

Increase of people: increase people by giving foodstuff. The volume of foodstuff is in proportion to current city population.

Collection of Resources

You can collect resources from common people, but your allegiance will be reduced at the same time. at a moment of crisis,due to critical strategy, this method is inevitable, but remember pacify your people after that. Resources you can collect are gold, foodstuff, wood, stone and iron, the volume of collection should be in proportion to city population, and once it happened, your allegiance will be reduced 20, when it is lower than 20, you can not collect resources.

Adjusting Tax Rate

High tax rate will reduce allegiance. As a capable governor, you should pay attention to adjusting tax rate to avoid reduction of allegiance. Higher tax rate, faster allegiance reduced. The volume of gold is in proportion to city population.

Population Development

Population is very important to city development, upon which resource produce and army development lie. To gain gold, you should claim tax, and population is the basis of tax. On the right of the game interface,you can see 2 values related to population, city population and spare people.

City population is the current actual value of the city, which will increase with the development of city. The speed of population development is closely related to civilian houses player built, tax rate and population upper limit. It takes time to accumulate population, every 6 minute, population will be refreshed. With higher population upper limit, more actual population will be. Note: too high tax rate will stop population increase. Move your mouse to “population”, you can see detailed information of population. For example:

Work force: population used by resource building, which can be changed through adjusting resource produce proportion. You can see work force value in the produce panel.

Spare population: people don’t work. Population needed for the development of army is from it. If you don’t have spare population, you can not train new soldier.

If spare population is negative, it indicates that you are in high demand of work force for your current resource produce building.

Note:Workforce demand here is related to maximum work force value of the building and operating rate you set. The optimum state of resource produce is to get 100% production efficiency through adjusting operating rate, that is, population in demand is equal to population can be supplied in the city.

With different position, you can receive different salary，food and resources. Official promotion, except to gain fame, is mainly to pay tribute, and that is to finish the task of promotion.

When a city developed to a certain scale, its governor should begin to consider conquer new cities, because that a city has space limit, if only stay in one place, it is hard to gain strength.

In order to better development, build a city in proper time will bring you more resources and population. You can build hundreds of cities if you are able to do that, but don’t forget values such as food, gold, loyalty, require you to develop and manage every of your city carefully. Blind expansion with ill management will bring you bad consequence.

New city opening is related to your position; higher position will ensure you to open more new cities.

Basic requirement of opening new cities: food, wood, stone, gold respectively 10000.

Position of Lord

If your position doesn’t meet the requirement of opening new city, you will be told “city building fails” after the battle.

If you don’t have enough resource, you cannot open up new cities even though you destroy the garrisoned army.

Conquer: when you are posted and strong enough to open up new cities, the first you should do is to occupy a piece of land, which is ranked, and its level will not affect the quality of your building, with higher level, more soldiers with higher level will garrison. If you have chosen the building place, you have to consider whether your soldier is enough or not, whether you can conquer this land or not.

Resource requirement: to build a new city, you should have a certain quantity of resources, food, wood, stone, iron and gold respectively 10000. In version 1.2 of Kingory, resource needed for the building is directly deducted from the main city. After finishing the city, it will gain foodstuff, wood, iron and gold respectively 5000.
